In our ongoing Weekly Escape series, we aim to transport you from your desk to an incredible place in two minutes or less. Filmmaker Danny MacRostie has an obsession with shooting fog at Mt. Tamalpais in San Francisco. Over the course of 18 months, he gathered thousands of images to create this timelapse. “In the end, it seemed like the easy part was the endless hours of hiking in the dark and lugging gear around the mountain.
