China's Zhangjiajie National Park is often associated with the set of Avatar. It offers some of the world's most extensive limestone pillars and provided the other-worldly setting that the producers were looking for. On a five-day trip, filmmaker Abel Blanco set out with his drone to capture the natural beauty of this landscape for his own film. The uncooperative weather, high tourist traffic, and man-made infrastructure made this a difficult task. Follow along with Blanco on his website here and Instagram here.
