In our ongoing Weekly Escape series, we aim to transport you from your desk to an incredible place in two minutes or less. This week, it’s to the Arctic. Filmmaker Jason van Bruggen makes a trip to the Arctic for a few months every year, but all that time spent in the area hasn’t drawn away from its beauty. During the filming of Northwest Passage, a few shipwrecks were discovered in the vicinity: The HMS Erebus and The HMS Terror. This route, once used by British navigators, is now home to Inuit villages and many historical sites. Find more from van Bruggen on his website.
