Earlier this year, the Goat Surf Club released a film series about its adventures in Morocco, where the trio of best friends found themselves trapped after a surf trip. The club’s crew, made up of Roo, Ben, and Thomas, is now back with a new series about its recent travels—this time to Ireland, a location that’s grown increasingly popular for the sport, despite the often windy conditions. In this series, from filmmaker Roo Smith, the group finds some great swell but also connects with environmentalists trying to save the country’s biodiversity and mitigate wildfire potential. For the Goat Surf Club, these trips are about more than catching waves; they’re about bringing awareness to environmental issues around the world and promoting uplifting stories about those working to preserve the planet.
