Mikah Meyer, the founder of Outside Safe Space, considered himself a newbie cyclist when he set out on a 14-day, 363-mile bikepacking trip across Oregon with his friend Cole Strombeck. He went anyway, partnering with Schwinn Bikes to make I Am a Cyclist. The film is part of the company’s initiative to celebrate all people with bikes as cyclists—regardless of where they are, how often they ride, or their skill level.
