Payson McElveen knew that biking 250 miles across Iceland—from the northern city of Akureyri to Vik, in the south—would be a difficult feat. And with a snowstorm looming, he only had a small window of time to complete his goal. Crossing Iceland, a new film from Stachehouse Productions,  follows McElveen as he navigates the strong winds, steady rains, glacial rivers, and subfreezing temperatures of the Iceland Highlands.
