Deepest Darkest, the newest trail in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is a bit different from other routes at the mountain resort. It’s a universal trail, intended for adaptive and nonadaptive mountain bikers alike. Joe Stone, the mission director of Teton Adaptive Sports, and Ranyon D’arge, Jackson Hole’s mountain-design manager, teamed up for the project, inspired by their friend Pierre Bergman, whose life changed after a paralyzing biking accident. Digging for Answers explores what it takes to build a trail that works for everyone.
