In 2020, the New Mexico Outdoor Recreation Division’s Outdoor Equity Fund granted $10,000 to Silver Stallion’s mobile bike center. The funding has since provided pandemic-relief efforts to repair kids’ bikes within the Navajo Nation. Silver Stallion cofounder Scott Nydam and Diné photographer Shaun Price take us behind the wheel of the shop and explain the group’s mission to address systemic inequities in the community.
