For thru-hikers Tenny Ostrem and Claire Wernstedt-Lynch, when they told their loved ones that their objective was to hike the entire U.S.-Mexico border, they were greeted with concern. As women in a harsh natural and political landscape, this undertaking would put them in a dangerously exposed situation. But as they say in the film, “We're vulnerable as women, but that vulnerability has been an asset to us.” In Hike the Line, from Corey Robinson, these hikers share an experience that's unlike any other thru-hike.
