The John Beargrease Sled Dog mid-distance race consists of an 119-mile course through northern Minnesota. Mushers and their dogs encounter the harsh weather of the region and the rugged terrain of the Sawtooth mountains. This year, musher Blair Braverman participated in the mid-distance race and recorded her experience along the way, which she shares in this video.
