Mobile accessories company Urban Armor Gear (UAG) hired extreme athlete JT Holmes as the company’s new brand ambassador, according to a press release published on Wednesday.
“JT’s lifestyle of fortitude and style, along with pushing the limits of adventure, makes us honored to ingrain him into our brand,” UAG founder Steve Armstrong said in the statement.
As an elite BASE jumper and big-mountain skier, JT Holmes is known for filming footage for extreme sports videos. (He once shot point-of-view imagery while speedriding in the Alps in Warren Miller’s ski film No Turning Back.)
Calling Holmes “the most extreme product tester we could find,” UAG announced the design of a wingsuit created especially for Holmes’ upcoming videos. The company also presented him with a branded race truck to drive in a 500-mile off-road race from Las Vegas to Reno, Nevada, which will take place on August 14.
