This shot came on a rest day towards the end of our trip around Málaga, Spain. Not really planning to climb, we had spent our day exploring the treacherous and eroded via ferata known as El Camino del Rey (pictured here) that traverses the gorge above the town of El Chorro.

On our way back from the Camino we were tantalized by the long, aesthetic crack systems lining the wall opposite our path. My friends Blake and Scott braved a harsh wind and traversed over to explore what turned out to be a stellar crack system shooting straight up from the roaring gorge below.
