I was on top of British Columbia's Mount Mackenzie waiting for riders to climb up before dropping in on the infamous Mac Daddy Face. Temperatures had dropped to 30-below and the low sun on the horizon created a perfect winter light. I saw this particular snowboarder walking, ghostlike, though deep snow and tried to position myself to shoot him.Â
