A stomach-related illness has forced Lance Armstrong to pull out of the 2010 Circuit de la Sarthe, according to roadcycling.com After competing Tuesday, Armstrong was unable to continue due to a flu-like intestinal infection. The cyclist tweeted that he was “sicker than a dog now” and will return to the U.S. as soon as he can. Several teammates on Sunday's Tour de Flanders reportedly came down with a similar bug. Armstrong's next competition is in May, in the 2010 AMGEN Tour of California.
