The 2010 U.S. Open Cycling Championships have been canceled. Race organizers cited lack of funding and sponsorship as the primary reason for canceling the race.
The U.S. Open began in 2007, running from Williamsburg to Richmond, Virginia. This year's race was scheduled for May 4 in Rhode Island. Organizers hope to bring the event back in 2011.
