Filmmaker Russell Brownley–who directed Gum for My Boat: Surfing in Bagladesh, which won the people's choice award at the 5 Point Film Festival this year–has just returned from a trip to Zambia. He's putting his cinematic talents to good use once again by using his time there to create a documentary for Zambikes, a socially conscious business that makes and distributes bikes in Zambia to people who need them the most. The company uses Shimano components and has started to build bikes out of bamboo, too. Check out the video above for a sneak peak.
