A trailer for Lindsey Vonn: The Climb, which documents the all-time ski great’s two-year comeback from multiple knee injuries, was released Monday.

The trailer opens with Vonn’s crash at the 2013 World Championships in which she tore the ACL and MCL in her right knee. She had surgery but then partially tore one of her surgically reconstructed ligaments in a training crash three months before the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Vonn attempted to make it back in time for the games but sprained her MCL in a downhill race in December 2013. That injury required another operation. The trailer gives glimpses of the painful recovery Vonn endured in preparation to return to the top of the Alpine skiing world.

Spoiler alert: The comeback depicted in the movie was a success. Vonn has already returned to world-class form, capturing two World Cup downhill races this season. She is closing in on the record for career World Cup victories and is considered a favorite at next month’s World Championships in Colorado.

Lindsey Vonn: The Climb premiers January 25 at 3 p.m. on NBC and will be available on Red Bull TV on demand beginning January 28—just in time to get excited for the FIS Alpine Skiing World Ski Championships, which start February 2.

Outside profiled Vonn at the height of her career, prior to her crash in March 2013.
