Two perfect waves are seventh ever
Owen Wright is the first surfer to score two perfect heats in the same competition.
Australian Owen Wright moved on to the quarterfinals of the World Surf League Fiji Pro Monday with a perfect heat, accomplished six other times in Championship Tour history, the World Surf League reported. Kelly Slater scored the last perfect heat at the 2013 Fiji Pro and scored a perfect ten in a heavy barrel at the Drug Aware Margaret River Pro earlier this year.
