Giant Lizard Discovered in Philippines

A cousin to the infamous Komodo Dragon has been recently discovered in the Philippines, according to wired.com. Though the reptile (named Varanus Bitatawamatures to nearly two meters long, it has remained virtually unknown to scientists until now. A delicacy to forest tribes, the lizard is scared of humans and lounges mostly in trees, where it dines on fruit while expertly hidden.
