Climbers Martin Ploug and Kristoffer Szilas were the first to summit Ren Zhong Fen, a mountain in Sichuan province, China. Climbing Magazine has the story and photos from the climb.
The 5,800 meter mountain was unknown to climbers until Japanese explorer Tamotsu Nakamura made them aware of it. Nakumara is famed for his trips to Tibet and southwest China, documenting rarely-seen peaks and giving climbers something to aspire to. Climbing also has dozens of photos from Nakamura's latest expedition to the region.
