The Test: Sony proves classic camcorders are still worth it. This 1920-by-1080 full-HD unit shoots 26 hours of brilliant footage on 64GB of built-in memory, with a wide-angle lens, 10x zoom, and a surround mic. On the still side, a sequencing feature lets you slice up two seconds of action into 22 frames, and the 12-mp images rival a DSLR’s.
