At the Criterium International, Alberto Contador finished 15th and Lance Armstrong 47th, according to bicycling.com. With its tough time trial and climbing stage, the Criterium is considered an ideal early season race for the Tour de France. Although Contador and Armstrong attracted headlines, their performances were overshadowed by Frenchman Pierrick Fedrigo. In three months, Contador and Armstrong will remeet at the Tour de France.
