The classic Jack Purcells from Converse have been a fair-weather shoe because their canvas leaks like a sieve. That all changes, however, with the new Jack Purcell Signature X Hancock Sneaker released by Converse last week, which swaps in a water-repellant, bonded cotton outer and a raised cuff. These kicks aren't meant for splashing in puddles, but they will keep your dogs dry in a regular rainstorm.

The collab, which is hand-cut in Scotland, features the design work of British clothiers Hancock Vulcanised Articles, and also has Nike’s Zoom Air technology in the midsole and an OrthoLite sock liner for extra comfort.
