There’s a good chance you've never heard of Basin and Range. The brand is sold exclusively at Backcountry and features products that blend style with function. This winter, we’ve fallen in love with a few of their products, all of which are on sale for 30 percent off now through January 20.
Sherpa Primaloft Shirt Jacket ($105)
With its classic canvas outer and metal buttons, this jacket feels at home in any mountain town bar. The Primaloft lining feels almost like real sheep wool and we dig the dark khaki color.
Battle Creek Stretch Corduroy ($53)
It's hard to argue with the look and feel of a pair of corduroys. These ones are made of cotton with a touch of spandex for comfort.
Woodside Quick Dry Flannel Shirt ($56)
Featuring a moisture-wicking, wrinkle-resistant fabric that’s as soft as it is technical, the classic plaid Woodside looks good enough to wear for most occasions.
Rancher Primaloft Jacket ($144)
Although it sports a similar cut and the same Primaloft insulation as the Sherpa, this jacket is decidedly more stylish. It sports oversized metal zippers and forgoes baffles for a cleaner look that can be dressed up for date night.
Buckskin Stretch Flannel ($56)
Our favorite piece from the line, the Buckskin is made from lightweight flannel that’s UPF 30 treated to block harmful UV rays. Although it’s not as soft as the Woodside, we love the articulated back which allows for exceptional freedom of movement during activities like climbing and biking.
Storm Mountain Chino Pant ($53)
Made of a cotton polyester blend, these Chinos have a casual look and a technical feel. We wore ours to the office and then kept them on for an after-work hike. We suggest you size up as the 32-inch waist feels a lot more like a 31.
