Amber Mozo is an acclaimed surf photographer and the daughter of legendary surf photographer Jon Mozo. When Amber was nine years old, her father was photographing Pipeline when he was slammed into the reef and sustained terminal head trauma. In the film Lumiere, from Tay Steele, Amber opens with a haunting statement: “My dad always knew that the ocean gives, but it also takes.” Watch as she reconciles her love for surf photography with her fear of the ocean, all the while learning to recover from the loss of her father.
