How Gear Companies Pivoted for COVID-19

When COVID-19 hit, some gear companies furloughed employees or shuttered completely. But at DPS Skis, designers viewed the pandemic as a way to pivot their business and do something impactful for health care workers. In collaboration with Eastman, Goal Zero, Petzl, and Wasatch Container, they’ve shipped over 90,000 face shields to medical professionals working on the front lines.
