Wonder in the Smokies, from filmmaker Drew Perlmutter, chronicles the history of Elkmont, Tennessee. The community was once home to a thriving tourism economy, only to be bought out by the federal government, left to crumble, then deemed a ghost town. It’s situated next to Great Smoky Mountains National Park’s largest campground and is a now an eerie piece of this region’s history.
