After last summer’s European Championship for extreme whitewater, Nouria Newman, considered by some to be the best paddler alive, spent a week running rivers around Voss, Norway. Newman and her companions, including Ciarán Heurteau, Tess Storebo, Julian Stocker, and Paulo Garikano Goñi, found plenty of big drops and rowdy rapids on the Rjuande, Raundalselvi, Teigdalselvi, and Eksingdalen Rivers.
