At four years old, Quincy Symonds convinced her father Jake Symonds to take her surfing. Quincy, now eight, is slated to be a world-class athlete (if she chooses to be), drawing comparisons to surfing legends and taking international headlines by storm. In this video from Local.Studio, her father says, “She has a different connection with the ocean than what I do. It's her connection. The first time she went into the ocean it just seemed to fit her. I don't why. It's just her place.” You can follow Local.Studio on Instagram here.
