The handle on this Opinel and L.L. Bean collaborative knife ($40) is made from reclaimed maple that’s been sitting at the bottom of Maine’s Moosehead Lake since the logging boom of the early 1900s. The wood holds a standard three-inch blade made from Sandvik stainless steel.
