Have you ever wondered what it’s like to bikepack through the Tian Shan mountains of Kyrgyzstan? A new film gives viewers the chance to see what it’s all about. How to Bikepack the Silk Road Mountain Race, by Brady Lawrence, shows what’s required to complete the unsupported single-stage cycling contest that covers 1,800 kilometers and over 30,000 meters of climbing. Riders traverse old Soviet roads, dirt paths, and single track routes as they make their way from Osh, Kyrgyzstan, to the finish line in the capital city of Bishkek.

The film was made with support from Canyon, Komoot, and Pedaled.
