A Thru-Hike of the U.S.-Mexico Border

For thru-hikers Tenny Ostrem and Claire Wernstedt-Lynch, when they told their loved ones that their objective was to hike the entire U.S.-Mexico border, they were greeted with concern. As women in a harsh natural and political landscape, this undertaking would put them in a dangerously exposed situation.
