Despite its country-pickup-bull-riding associations, the Buck Mason x Stetson City Collection hat brings the classic western headgear back to its city roots.
Los Angeles-based menswear brand Buck Mason, parnering with cowboy hat king Stetson, pared down the classic shape for the Deep Ellum, with a two-inch bill and a lot fewer gallons than a Texas oil tycoon might prefer. The Rambler is even slimmer, with a one-inch brim and the right amount of Rocky Balboa swagger. Finally, the Highway is the classic fedora with a “dusted” crown for that worn-in look. Purists can relax: despite the modern updates, all hats are still made in Stetson’s legendary Garland, Texas, factory with either wool or the traditional beaver-rabbit fur blend.
Could you bust a bronco in the Buck Mason x Stetson City Collection? Sure. But good luck finding one within city limits.
